Kate Belin, mathematics teacher at Fannie Lou Hamer Freedom High School (FLHFHS) in the South Bronx, NY, was honored with a Sloan Award for Excellence in Teaching Mathematics in a ceremony held by the Fund for the City of NY on November 16th, 2011.  Kate has taught Algebra Project Geometry materials at FLHFHS since 2007, and also serves on the AP’s Teacher Resource Materials (TRM) working group.
