John Doar, head of the U.S. Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division during the Sixties, and his fellow civil rights legend, Dr. Robert P. Moses, MacArthur Genius Fellow and president of the Algebra Project, will discuss the historical context for exploring the U.S. Constitution as a document to ensure quality public school education for all.
Youth from the Young People’s Project, former Miami Edison H.S. students, will also dialogue with the audience.
Dr. Moses will sign his new book. All royalties are donated to the Young People’s Project.
